Established
in 1948, Jonker's Garden is a second (working on the third!) generation
Garden Greenhouse in Holland, Michigan. Located on eight acres in the city,
we have grown to include 16 greenhouses and several acres of outdoor
gardens and retail displays. Most of our outdoor and indoor plants are grown on-site, as
well as being shipped in from dozens of local, statewide, and
nation-wide sources. We feature a wide selection in many categories. Our
annuals department has over 1000 varieties: the tried & true as well as
many antique types and cutting edge new varieties.
We
grow over 1200 varieties of perennials and herbs. In our nursery and
greenhouses we
feature many hard-to-find dwarf conifers, specimen trees, and
broad-leafed evergreens. Our pond department features a large display
pond with waterfall, and we sell fish, plants, complete pond kits and
accessories. Our large statuary displays include fountains, statues,
birdbaths, furniture, and ornaments. Our greenhouse has ever-changing
selections of pottery, terra-cotta, wind-chimes, garden art, orchids,
tropical plants, and blooming plants. Mingo, our resident monkey, has
been delighting guests for over 30 years. Last, but not least, our staff
of 30 includes 15 Michigan Master Gardeners and 3 Michigan Certified
Nurserymen.
